Bioinformatics has been an active and flourishing research discipline with wide application potentials. This invited paper section aims to offer an interactive forum for the translation of bioinformatics into clinical and forensic applications. Topics of this section include the bioinformatics for human liver and pulmonary diseases, digital biometrics and forensic systems, bioinformatics analysis on the complex interactions of biomolecules, etc. All manuscripts will be peer reviewed by internationally recognized experts in related fields. Final decisions will be made by the Section chair: Kung-Hao Liang. The proceedings of the invited sessions may be published together with the main conference proceedings. The page limit is 6 pages in IEEE double-column format for invited session papers.
