2016ICLSPPM

Life science has been rapidly evolving as a Big Data science for analyzing tremendous amounts of personalized biological/medical data. Quantitative analysis is also demanded through mathematical modeling and simulation to support preventive medicine. For achieving these aspects of life sciences, it is important to construct an integrated computational platform for analyzing from micro-level (genome-level) to macro-level (tissue or organ-level) towards understanding and preventing cancer, cardiovascular and neurological diseases. From this viewpoint, we solicit original research papers (including significant work-in-progress). Topics of interests include, but are not limited to:

  • Biological Models and Simulation
  • Biomedical Data Engineering
  • Biomedical Image Processing and Analysis
  • Gene Expression Analysis Bioinformatics Engineering
  • Algorithms, Modelling and Simulation of Disease

Paper Submission

Detailed instructions for manuscript preparation can be found on the conference website through this link. Note that all manuscripts should be written in English and submitted electronically in PDF format through the paper submission system. Submitted work must not contain contents that have been published or are under consideration for publication by any other journal or conference.

Accepted Papers

Each accepted paper should be presented by one of the authors at the conference. At least one author of each accepted paper should be registered and pay the full registration fee to ensure the publication of their paper in the BIBE 2016 conference proceedings and IEEE Digital Library.
