The IEEE BIBE 2016 organizing committee invites proposals for workshops to be held in conjunction with the conference. The objective of these workshops is to explore focused interest areas and provide international forums for researchers to share their research results for problems in the areas of bioinformatics and biomedical engineering. It is expected that IEEE will publish the proceedings of the workshop programs together with the main conference proceedings. Workshops should cover at least a single session (4~6 regular papers). The organizer(s) of approved workshops are responsible for advertising the workshop, distributing the call for papers, gathering submissions, and conducting the paper review process. Please note that the page limit is 6 pages in IEEE double-column format for workshop papers. A workshop proposal should include:
- Workshop title
- A draft “Call for Papers” articulating the scope and topics covered by the workshop
- Members of the organizing committee, and if available, tentative program committee
Important Dates
- Workshop Proposal Submission Deadline: March 21, 2016
- Workshop Proposal Acceptance Notification: March 22, 2016
