Movement is actually a complex process including the brain stimulating the motor area to send signals to the muscles for the action carried out. The smooth action necessarily requires to regulate the power, speed, coordination and balance of musculoskeletal system. Musculoskeletal and movement disorders can be defined as neurologic syndromes in excess or paucity of voluntary and automatic movements. This term is used to describe a variety of conditions that consist of physical disabilities including body’s nerves, joints, ligaments, tendons, and muscles.
We have entered a musculoskeletal and movement disorders in which interdisciplinary efforts among different domains of biomechanics, medical sciences, and bioinformatics are required to discover novel and effective ways to extract meaningful. Thus, we would like to invite submissions of high quality, original papers on any topic related to novel bioinformatics and bioengineering methods for the analysis of high-throughput data, new discoveries about the functions, regulation, and interactions of medical sciences, as well as applications of high-throughput technologies to help answer musculoskeletal and movement questions.
Papers are solicited on, but not limited to, the following topics:
- Balance mechanism
- Motion sickness
- Muscle activation
- Postural control
- Gait disorders
Paper Submission

Note that all manuscripts should be written in English and submitted electronically in PDF format through the paper submission system. Submitted work must not contain contents that have been published or are under consideration for publication by any other journal or conference.
Accepted Papers
Each accepted paper should be presented by one of the authors at the conference. At least one author of each accepted paper should be registered and pay the full registration fee to ensure the publication of their paper in the BIBE 2016 conference proceedings and IEEE Digital Library.
